Mid-rolls are commercials that are placed as interstitial advertising during a video format with a long running time. The commercials are placed in video-on-demand formats, as in TV, after a short commercial break.

General Requirements
- Video codec: VP6/H.264
- Audio codec: MPEG Audio
- Aspect ratio: 16 : 9
- Delivery as redirect: with CORS header (200 response), MP4 + HTTPS capable
- Video length: maximum 30 seconds
- The following applies to interactive videos: advertising labeling, remaining time display and a close button must be provided
- The top and bottom 40 px should not contain any advertising-relevant messages or clickable elements
- Media Impact reserves the right to reject advertising material in the event of technical problems. Certified providers preferred (already certified: Innovid, Brainient, Sizmek)
- Different specifications apply to the “wrapper” (on request)
- The sound in the advertising material must be able to be switched on and off by the user at any time via clearly visible controls and the volume must be adjustable
