The curtain dropper is an attention-grabbing layer that covers the screen like a falling curtain, both stationary and mobile, and falls down after a while. At the end of the “curtain”, an advertising medium remains as a reminder. The classic reminder advertising medium is the billboard, mobile the lead ad 2:1 and an Mrec. Visualization example

General Requirements
- The “Curtain” is created by Media Impact from the delivered interstitial. The interstitial must therefore be physically delivered
- FC=1 for the curtain dropper
- A billboard is traditionally used as a reminder advertising medium. However, a Fireplace, a Sitebar or a Double Dynamic Sitebar can also be used for this purpose.
- For the dimensions, see the respective format specifications. Mobile requires a Lead Ad 2:1 and a Mobile Medium Rectangle as a reminder.
- The curtain dropper is only played on desktop devices or MEW and not on tablets or inApp. Only the Reminder ad runs there
- The following applies to the Reminder ad: animations may last a maximum of 30 seconds. Looping is not permitted (only with special approval from the respective publisher). This also applies to integrated videos
- The multiscreen curtain dropper (stationary + mobile) cannot be booked with all Media Impact publishers, please refer to the brand factsheets!
