The InText OutStream Ad is a video ad embedded in the heart of the editorial article. The ad is preloaded in the non-visible area, the playback of the video starts when there is visual contact (at least 50%) and pauses when the user scrolls out of the visible area.

GENERAL GUIDELINES

The following specifications apply to the use of Media Impact’s own video player:

• Video codec: VP6/H.264
• Audio codec: MPEG Audio
• Aspect ratio: 16 : 9
• Resolution: 720p recommended
• Video duration: max. 30 seconds

If an external video player is to be used, the following additional specifications must be met:

• Parameter transfer of Tracking URL either “on Start” or “on Complete
• Passback function must be available
• The start of the video must be muted
• No capping (frequency capping, geo etc.) is allowed on the agency side. The settings are carried out by Media Impact
• The video sound can be started by click or mouseover
• Video duration: max. 30 seconds
